Delivery and Returns


If in stock at the warehouse we endeavour to deliver your rooflight(s) within ten days to your chosen site. If the Rooflight isn’t in stock and needs to be manufactured it will be delivered within 3 to 4 weeks from the date of order (depending on service selected) However we will always try to reduce this time frame. Deliveries will be made to kerbside or nearest accessible point, we cannot move the product to point of installation or inside your building so please ensure you take note of the product weight and ensure enough people and equipment if necessary to move the product from the delivery point. Due to our vehicle sizes used we may not be able to deliver to locations with restricted or narrow access, please contact our team if you are unsure.

We will confirm your delivery date within 24 hours of placing your order.

On the day of the actual delivery, we will contact you and provide a 2-hour delivery window so that you can ensure somebody is available to sign for the consignment – unfortunately for insurance reasons we cannot deliver your rooflight unless somebody is there to sign for it. If no one is available to sign for delivery the consignment will be returned and you will be charged the cost of the delivery.

Charges may be applicable if the courier is unable to complete the delivery due to site conditions.

Deliveries are made Monday – Friday only. We can deliver weekends additional charges apply.


Back Orders

Due to the popularity of some of our roof lights, very occasionally we may have a shortage of stock. Usually anything that appears to be out of stock will be replenished within 5 working days, but we offer the option of placing your rooflight on back order so that the delivery is fulfilled as soon as replacement stock becomes available. If you have placed a back order our team will notify you when the product is available and advise you of the despatch date.

For orders that contain both back ordered and in stock products, your order will be held until the back ordered product becomes available.


Bespoke Orders

Some of our rooflights are more specialist and are available as made to order products, the current lead time is always shown on the product page so you can schedule your order to coincide with preparations on site.

Our team will contact you to advise a final delivery date when the rooflight is near to completion.


Standard Delivery Network

We deliver to Mainland UK only via our standard network and at present this does not cover Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Shetland Islands, Orkney Islands, Hebrides or the Isle of Man. However, we can arrange delivery to these destinations please enquire with one of our team for a price.


Once You Have Received Your Delivery

Someone must be available to sign for the delivery when it arrives and inspect the consignment before signing for it. If there is visible damage to the packaging or product you should refuse delivery and contact one of our team who will advise. If you sign for the consignment as damaged, you must inform both the carrier and Rooflight Solutions in writing within 24 hours of receiving the goods. In the absence of notification of such claims within such periods, the goods shall be deemed to have been delivered in accordance with the order.


Collection in Person

If you have opted to collect your rooflight our team will contact, you to arrange a suitable time. Please avoid making the journey to us to collect your rooflight if you have not received confirmation, this will avoid any delays when you arrive on site and also allows us to confirm critical dimensions and loading requirements for the rooflight.

Collection times are strictly 09:00 am – 16:45 pm Monday to Friday not including weekends, bank holidays and Christmas holiday shutdown. from our Head Office in Wolverhampton


How Deliveries Are Calculated

Our rooflights can be stacked up to a maximum 5 units, which means that you can benefit from a single delivery charge for up to 5 rooflights.

Certain products cannot be stacked so orders for multiple units of these products will result in a higher delivery charge due to the additional payload space required on the vehicle or the potential for multiple vehicles on larger orders.

Your delivery charge can be calculated when product has been added to your basket simply by entering your postcode and selecting the delivery service required.


Credit Card Payments

We operate secure payment via PayPal; any orders placed via credit card are subject to a

3% surcharge. This surcharge is not applicable to debit cards you can also pay by cheque or BACS payment.

Occasionally PayPal will notify us that goods cannot be shipped whilst your transaction is being reviewed, in which case any goods ordered will not be despatched until such time that confirmation of payment has been issued by PayPal, this is usually completed within 24 hours.
