The RLS Electric Opening Rooflight is a classic; traditional and elegant design and has the additional benefit of being able to be opened electronically, allowing you to maximise the natural light and ventilation into your home.
The Electric Opening Rooflights are perfect for those wanting all of the above, conveniently operated by the click of a switch. They come with a quality concealed opening mechanism, and is easy to operate. It’s factory-fitted with 24v chain-driven actuators which are completely concealed within the frame. Standard actuators have a stroke of 300mm (as a bespoke option these can be programmed with a 600mm stroke).
To enhance the functionality of the Electric Opening Roof Window, we are able to offer a range of additional control options for your convenience including remote control wireless key-fob, rain sensor and combined wind / rain sensor.

Also, a fixing kit is supplied with this item, which will include all fixings needed for installation but the Electric Opening must be wired in and signed off by a qualified electrician (wiring diagrams will be sent with the rooflight).

Technical Specifications
The Electric Opening Rooflight come with a 32mm DGU toughened safety glass with low-e coating and warm edge spacer. The low-e coating allows the suns natural heat (solar gain) to pass through the panes then the low-e coating reflects the heat gain back into the room, which is more energy efficient. The warm edge spacer is made of an insulating plastic composite material that becomes a barrier to heat loss, keeping the edge of the unit warm, resulting in less heat loss.
Manufactured from 6063-T6 aluminium profile, thermally broken with 32mm polyamide insulation sections to prevent cold bridging and stop condensation. The frames are dual colour, coated with marine grade polyester powder coating; supplied in dark grey (RAL 7015) externally and white (RAL 9010) internally, as standard. They come factory glazed, as one unit for ease of installation, for the best easy to fit solution include our Upstand which will give you the correct fall angle required.

Warranty
All of our products come with a 20-year warranty as standard. The length of the warranty can be extended at additional cost upon request.

Delivery
If in stock our rooflight(s) will be delivered to your chosen site within 10 working days. If your rooflight is manufactured to order depending on the sepcification we offer lead times of 3-4 weeks from the date of order (depending on service selected)
Deliveries will be made to kerbside or nearest accessible point, we cannot move the product to point of installation or inside your building so please ensure you take note of the product weight and ensure enough people are on site or have adequate equipment to move the product from the delivery point to your intended installation point. Due to our vehicle sizes used we may not be able to deliver to locations with restricted or narrow access, please contact our sales team who will be happy to advise.
Rooflight Solutions will advise an approximate delivery date within one week of the order being placed.
On the day of delivery, we will contact you 1hr prior to drop off so that you can ensure your arrangemnets to unload are in place and that a contact available to sign for the delivery, unfortunately for insurance reasons we cannot allow delivery of your rooflight unless somebody is there to sign for it. If no one is available to sign for delivery, the consignment will be returned and you will be charged the cost of the delivery.
Charges may be applicable if the courier is unable to complete the delivery due to site conditions.
Deliveries are made Monday – Friday only. We can deliver weekends upon request however additional charges may apply.
