The RLS Cost Saver lantern is a real showpiece and is a great alternative to our standard lantern for projects that are looking for a cost effective alternative.
Building on years of experience, we’ve incorporated many new innovative ideas to create a warmer, slimmer and much more secure roof lantern. Thermlock® multi-chamber thermal technology helps keep heating bills low, while deep internal bars create an ultra strong structure for spans up to 3.2 x 6m without tie bars. Ultra-low line aesthetics give a stylish architectural appearance, enhanced with hardwearing powder-coated aluminium inside and out. Security is also built into the heart of every S1 lantern, helping protect you and your home. As with all our products, the skylight, roof window or rooflight of your choice can be made to match your exact requirements.

Technical Specifications
The Lantern Rooflights come with a 28mm DGU toughened safety glass with low-e coating and warm edge spacer. The low-e coating allows the suns natural heat (solar gain) to pass through the panes then the low-e coating reflects the heat gain back into the room, which is more energy efficient.
These lanterns are available in a choice of 10 styles from square ‘pyramid’ designs to grander options suitable for larger ‘orangery’ style installations. Maximum sizes range from 2.4 up to an impressive 6m long, all set at a 25˚ pitch and all weather rated for the whole of the UK*.
Rated for a snow load of 1.2 KN/m2. Covering the whole of the UK up to 200m altitude.

Warranty
All of our products come with a 10 year warranty as standard with an independent 3rd party insurance company covering this. The length of the warranty can be extended at additional cost upon request.

Silicone Sealants – 10 years
Operating Gear – 12 months from date of purchase
Installation – 12 months from date of install
NOTE: Nickle Sulphide or any other inclusions in the glass that may cause a spontaneous breakage are not covered by the 10 year glass warranty.
They are an extremely rare occurrence and not covered by any of the glass manufacturers, whether the glass is Heat Soak Tested following Thermal Toughening or not.

Delivery
If in stock our rooflight(s) will be delivered to your chosen site within 10 working days. If your rooflight is manufactured to order depending on the sepcification we offer lead times of 3-4 weeks from the date of order (depending on service selected)
Deliveries will be made to kerbside or nearest accessible point, we cannot move the product to point of installation or inside your building so please ensure you take note of the product weight and ensure enough people are on site or have adequate equipment to move the product from the delivery point to your intended installation point. Due to our vehicle sizes used we may not be able to deliver to locations with restricted or narrow access, please contact our sales team who will be happy to advise.
Rooflight Solutions will advise an approximate delivery date within one week of the order being placed.
On the day of delivery, we will contact you 1hr prior to drop off so that you can ensure your arrangemnets to unload are in place and that a contact available to sign for the delivery, unfortunately for insurance reasons we cannot allow delivery of your rooflight unless somebody is there to sign for it. If no one is available to sign for delivery, the consignment will be returned and you will be charged the cost of the delivery.
Charges may be applicable if the courier is unable to complete the delivery due to site conditions.
Deliveries are made Monday – Friday only. We can deliver weekends upon request however additional charges may apply.
