Our Walk On Glass Rooflights are flush-fitting glass panels that maintain the function of the floor whilst allowing the illumination of the room below with an abundance of natural light.
Walk On Glass Rooflights (external use) are ideal for spaces requiring pedestrian access, like roof terraces. They are strong, safe and aesthetically pleasing where transparency and light are needed.
They combine technology and safety to provide a perfect solution for those needing to enhance the light in the interior below, but also ensuring the floor remains safe for people to walk on. We make sure our Walk On Glass Rooflights surpass all the latest regulations, giving you peace of mind.
With the Walk On options the glass specification is determined by the size & loading requirements, so the specification needs to be agreed while processing your order.
We can offer a variety of anti-slip coatings for our Walk-On options which we have tested in accordance with “The Assessment of Floor Slip Resistance” The UK Slip Resistance Guidelines, Issue 3 2005. The results of which are ‘low-risk’. You could also upgrade to include other relevant finishes ie. opaque etc.

Also, a fixing kit is supplied with these items, which will include all fixings needed for installation.

If you require fitting we will only take your order as an enquiry and will be in touch in one working day with a quote for installation.
With the Walk On rooflights / floorlights the glass specification is determined by the size & loading requirements, so has to be specified on ordering.
You can also upgrade the automatically specified glass to include other relevant finishes ie. non-slip, obscured interlayer etc.
Manufactured from 6063-T6 aluminium profile, thermally broken with 32mm polyamide insulation sections to prevent cold bridging and stop condensation.
The frames are dual colour, coated with marine grade polyester powder coating; supplied in dark grey (RAL 7015) externally and white (RAL 9010) internally, as standard.
They come factory glazed, as one unit for ease of installation, for the best easy to fit solution include our Upstand which will give you the correct fall angle required.

Warranty
All of our products come with a 20-year warranty as standard. The length of the warranty can be extended at additional cost upon request.

Operating Gear – 5 years from date of purchase
Installation – 5 years from date of install

Delivery
If in stock our rooflight(s) will be delivered to your chosen site within 10 working days. If your rooflight is manufactured to order depending on the sepcification we offer lead times of 3-4 weeks from the date of order (depending on service selected)
Deliveries will be made to kerbside or nearest accessible point, we cannot move the product to point of installation or inside your building so please ensure you take note of the product weight and ensure enough people are on site or have adequate equipment to move the product from the delivery point to your intended installation point. Due to our vehicle sizes used we may not be able to deliver to locations with restricted or narrow access, please contact our sales team who will be happy to advise.
Rooflight Solutions will advise an approximate delivery date within one week of the order being placed.
On the day of delivery, we will contact you 1hr prior to drop off so that you can ensure your arrangemnets to unload are in place and that a contact available to sign for the delivery, unfortunately for insurance reasons we cannot allow delivery of your rooflight unless somebody is there to sign for it. If no one is available to sign for delivery, the consignment will be returned and you will be charged the cost of the delivery.
Charges may be applicable if the courier is unable to complete the delivery due to site conditions.
Deliveries are made Monday – Friday only. We can deliver weekends upon request however additional charges may apply.
