The SBD Flat Glass Rooflight has been accredited with the prestigious Certisecure pass meaning it qualifies as "Secured By Design" this is acheivede by using a stronger inner laminated pane along with more robust fixings to maximise security. The unit has gone under extensive testing by Exova to determione whether an intruder can gain access into the property through the rooflight.
The SBD Flat Glass Rooflight are perfect for letting maximum light flood into any room and are supplied pre-assembled and ready to install in minutes, simply lift into place and screw down.
Like with any our products, the skylight, roof window or rooflight of your choice can be made to match your exact requirements with our made to measure service.

The SBD Flat Glass Rooflight comes with the following glazing specification, 8mm Heat Soak Tested Toughned Outer, Low-e 14mm Argon Filled Cavity, 8.8mm Laminated Inner. The low-e coating allows the suns natural heat (solar gain) to pass through the panes then the low-e coating reflects the heat gain back into the room, which is more energy efficient.
The warm edge spacer is made of an insulating plastic composite material that becomes a barrier to heat loss, keeping the edge of the unit warm, resulting in less heat loss.
The frames are dual colour, coated with marine grade polyester powder coating; supplied in dark grey (RAL 7015) externally and white (RAL 9010) internally, as standard.
They come factory glazed, as one unit for ease of installation, for the best easy to fit solution include our Upstand which will give you the correct fall angle required.

Warranty
All of our products come with a 10 year warranty as standard with an independent 3rd party insurance company covering this. The length of the warranty can be extended at additional cost upon request.

Painted Surfaces – 10 years
Glass – 10 years
Silicone Sealants – 10 years
Operating Gear – 12 months from date of purchase
Installation – 12 months from date of install
NOTE: Nickle Sulphide or any other inclusions in the glass that may cause a spontaneous breakage are not covered by the 10 year glass warranty.
They are an extremely rare occurrence and not covered by any of the glass manufacturers, whether the glass is Heat Soak Tested following Thermal Toughening or not.
To maintain these warranties you will need to follow the instructions detailed in our Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Guide.

Delivery
If in stock our rooflight(s) will be delivered to your chosen site within 10 working days. If your rooflight is manufactured to order depending on the sepcification we offer lead times of 3-4 weeks from the date of order (depending on service selected)
Deliveries will be made to kerbside or nearest accessible point, we cannot move the product to point of installation or inside your building so please ensure you take note of the product weight and ensure enough people are on site or have adequate equipment to move the product from the delivery point to your intended installation point. Due to our vehicle sizes used we may not be able to deliver to locations with restricted or narrow access, please contact our sales team who will be happy to advise.
Rooflight Solutions will advise an approximate delivery date within one week of the order being placed.
On the day of delivery, we will contact you 1hr prior to drop off so that you can ensure your arrangemnets to unload are in place and that a contact available to sign for the delivery, unfortunately for insurance reasons we cannot allow delivery of your rooflight unless somebody is there to sign for it. If no one is available to sign for delivery, the consignment will be returned and you will be charged the cost of the delivery.
Charges may be applicable if the courier is unable to complete the delivery due to site conditions.
Deliveries are made Monday – Friday only. We can deliver weekends upon request however additional charges may apply.
